My garden

After going to Utah last month and seeing my sister's garden it made me want to have plants even more. So yesterday as Shana and I were coming home from playing tennis we passed a nursery, flipped a u-turn in the middle of the street and decided it was time to plant plants. We went in not knowing what kind of plants we wanted to get. But after we looked around at everything we discovered the vegetable plants. We decided on getting tomatoes, golden zucchini (they didn't have any regular zucchini), watermelon, green pepper, and strawberries. So hopefully by the end of the summer our balcony will be overgrown with all sorts of wonderful foods.

Whoa! I've been wanting to plant a garden (or at least get planted pots--tomatoes especially) for a long, long time. I think you've inspired me. Or at least I hope you've inspired Kristen to find, purchase, and care for a variety of tasty growing things that I normally have to buy at Trader Joe's. I'll be happy to help her eat the delicious fruit of her gardening labors. What a great roommate (I am)! :)
